[journey : gathering : Gift] Hasty Conclusions

In thinking this odd, new kirun was a threat to her very young charges, Mamba jumped to a hasty conclusion that the large grey stranger must be  danger. 

Attacking her, Quartz defended until she was forced to hasitly duck to the side, losing her footing on the slick rock and falling. 

 The resulting accidental injury was met by a paralysed, sick Mamba, and two very scared pups. Luckily... Quartz knew just what to do.

All these years later, Mamba often recalls this memory over drinks and good food when she visits her old friend in her tea shop in the Veldt.
