Ancient plated fish
A compact large body fish that lives in deep water around the lower eastern coast, long lived and slow going, these are creatures that house ancient magics not currently known to the world.
Not fast, agressive or well adapated to the world, it's not known how these fish survived so long, other than shear willpower. They do not provide a well tasting meal, and are mostly dense scale plating, and bones.
It is however good luck to see one when embarking on journey, as the lore goes 'See the Mudicanth, see your destination'
